Meet 2016 Olympian Marathoner Jared Ward

Jared Ward placed 3rd in the Los Angeles Olympic Trials in February 2016, and 6th at the 2016 Rio Olympics, running a personal-best of 2 hours, 11 minutes, 30 second. This was accomplished in only his 5th marathon run attempt. As a 27-year old BYU graduate, Jared has shown that he is someone with a promising future in long distance running.

Meet Jared as he joins us at our inaugural year event - at the registration and pasta party, the keynote address, the race itself, and the post race party.

We are excited to have Jared with us in our first year!

Friday Night Keynote Address, 8:00 PM            Guest Glenn Rawson, Author, Producer, and Host

After the pasta feed on Friday you can join us for a keynote address that includes a special musical number from Gentri and a historical message from Glenn Rawson.  You will recognize Glenn as the Host of the two popular video series, "The Joseph Smith Papers", and "The History of the Saints". Glenn is a noted lecturer, and tour guide of popular history sites through "Fun for Less Tours".

An effective communicator and expert on Church History - Glenn's remarks will give runners historical perspective and background on their run. A must see event. You can meet Glenn during the registration earlier in the day.

He will speak again at the awards ceremony later that day at the Post Race Party in Carthage. With a story that has inspired millions  - take advantage of the opportunity to meet someone who has set the bar for inspiration!

Shows at 2:00 and 7:00

GENTRI: The Gentlemen Trio was established in June 2014 and is comprised of three highly trained tenors: Brad Robins, Casey Elliott and Bradley Quinn Lever. Pioneering a signature sound that can only be described as “Cinematic Pop,” the music of GENTRI is transfused with lush, epic orchestrations and rich, dynamic three-part harmonies all composed by the group’s producer Stephen Nelson.

We are delighted that Gentri has agreed to perform at the beautiful Legacy Theater in Carthage. Their sound will bring a spectacular finish to our marathon weekend of activities. Not only will you be able to hear them at the Friday night fireside with Glenn Rawson, but also at the Legacy Theater.

Tickets are limited. Which is why we have scheduled two shows. You can buy the tickets on this website or at the Legacy Theater website.
